PLEASE NOTE: All certified divers are encouraged to attend San Jose Flipper Dippers' dives. Non-club members will be required to show proof of certification to the dive coordinator prior to entering the water with our group. Please sign up for dives at the General Meeting or contact the coordinator. This is needed in case of cancellation or changes.

SUNDAY, JULY 4 Ñ NO LICENSE FISHING DAY!
WEDNESDAY, JULY 7
BUSINESS MEETING at Round Table Pizza, 2615 The Alameda (near SCU) in Santa Clara, 7:30 PM. All members are invited to have a beer with your fearless leaders as we discuss the next monthÕs business and dives. This is a good time to share your ideas for dives and entertainment.
SATURDAY, JULY 10
ANNUAL HALIBUT DIVE. Coordinator: John Snyder, 408-202-5196; email: john.fishhunter@ gmail.com. This will be an 8:30 AM 2-tank boat dive out of Moss Landing. If you have a boat, we need it! This is the ClubÕs annual halibut dive to help provision the Family Picnic on Sunday and the Seafood Dinner/Dance. Since we will have an abundance of interested divers, and a limited supply of boats, be sure to contact John ASAP! Some hunters may go by boat, some by shore, some by kayak.
SUNDAY, JULY 11
ANNUAL FAMILY PICNIC. Coordinator: Larry Ankuda, 408-378-4963; email: lankuda@comcast.net. This annual fun event is held at John D. Morgan Park in Campbell. Festivities will begin around noon. This event is always lots of fun, so bring the family. This year we are celebrating just for the hali-i-but. Bring an appetizer or dessert and hopefully some halibut to share. Wonderful food and great company will be provided.
SUNDAY, JULY 18
PANTHER BEACH CLEAN-UP. Coordinator: Bill Zschaler, 408-578-8452; email: zschaler@att.net. This is the big one! After July 4th our poor beaches need all the cleanup help they can get. Meet at 9:00 AM. Entrance to parking area is on the left just past the 26.4 mile marker on Hwy 1 north of Santa Cruz, just before the town of Davenport. Wear long sleeves/ pants and bring gloves. Trash bags provided. Lunch following. Guaranteed to make you feel good about yourself!
